Arrive in Phnom Penh, meet your guide and driver, and transfer to your hotel. (Hotel check-in: 14:00; early check-in available at an extra cost.) In the evening, enjoy a Tuk Tuk ride to a well-known local restaurant for a traditional grilled dinner—featuring meats like beef, pork, chicken, seafood—served with a local beer or drink. After dinner, take a brief night tour to see highlights such as the Independence Monument, Diamond Island, Royal Palace, and the riverside area with its vibrant nightlife and shops. End the tour at Wat Phnom and then return back to your hotel and overnight stay at Phnom Penh hotel.
Start your day like a local with Bai Sach Chrouk (grilled pork with rice) at a nearby restaurant—one of Cambodia’s must-try dishes, featured by CNN Travel. Explore the bustling Central Market, from fresh produce and seafood to souvenirs and local crafts. Try authentic Cambodian street food near Soriya Mall, a favorite lunch spot for locals and then return to hotel for a short rest. In the afternoon you can visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, followed by the National Museum, showcasing Khmer art and history. Reflect on Cambodia’s past at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a powerful and sobering historical site. Head to Orussey Market for an adventurous street food dinner—try local favorites like fried noodles, noodle soup, marinated beef skewers, or even the famous baby duck egg and then return back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and then transfer to the bus station for a 6-hour journey to Siem Reap. The bus will make two stops for rest and lunch (at your own expense). Upon arrival, you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. In the evening you can explore Siem Reap by Tuk Tuk with your guide. Visit the Night Market for souvenirs and try local street food. Taste the famous “Pong Tea Kon” (baby duck eggs) served with salt, lemon, and mint. Finish your meal with a refreshing fresh fruit smoothie (Toeuk Kralork)—choose from mango, avocado, durian, and more. Unwind with a 1-hour foot or shoulder massage, and then return to your hotel and overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Depart at 8:00 AM to explore the wonders of Angkor Thom: South Gate, Bayon Temple, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, and Elephant & Leper King Terraces. Continue to the mysterious Ta Prohm, known for its jungle-covered ruins. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you can visit the iconic Angkor Wat, a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. Later, climb Bakheng Hill for a stunning sunset over Siem Reap. Savor authentic local flavors at a hidden gem restaurant, reached by Tuk Tuk or motorbike. Return to the hotel at your own pace or arrange a ride (extra cost applies) and overnight in Siem Reap.
Join a hands-on Khmer cooking class (9:30–12:00), including a market visit and personal cooking station. Learn about local ingredients and enjoy your own cooked lunch. Take home a recipe book, spice box, DVD, and certificate and then Cruise on Tonle Sap Lake to see the fascinating floating village life. Savor a buffet dinner with a live Apsara dance performance and then return to hotel for overnight.
