Itinerary
Welcome to Ladakh extending from the Glacier to the main Great Himalayas, Ladakh is a land like no other. Your adventure starts with your arrival at Leh Airport. Leh is capital and largest town of Ladakh, Our representative will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel to check in. Today is set aside to allow you to settle in and rest up before we start tomorrow to explore stunning landscapes and roads. Overnight stay at Leh hotel or resort.

Today’s drive will be around 90kms. After a relaxing breakfast, we will visit Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of fame (A museum in memory of the brave Indian soldiers), Sangam Point and Zanskar River. In the evening you can visit to Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at Leh hotel or resort.

Crossing the epic Khardung La Pass (17,982 feet). Diskit Monastery, the monastery has 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the Shayok River.
You can go for adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities; you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and double humped camel ride. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley Hotel or Resort.

We will drive towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China. You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprise to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of mountains. Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude salt water lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake Hotel or Resort.

The real beauty of Pangong Lake you will observe on this day. In chushul we will visit Rezang La war memorial. Hanle has a lovely Monastery offering some great aerial views of the whole village that is a home of about 1000 people with altitude of 4500 Mtrs. The Hanle Observatory is operated by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru and currently the second highest optical observatory in the world, with an installed telescope of about 2.01 meters (6.5 feet) diameter. Overnight stay at Hanle Homestay.

Travel distance and time (180km /6-7 hours). Today you will drive on the highest motorable road in the world. Umling La is a mountain pass in Ladakh, India on the ridgeline between Koyul Lungpa and the Indus River near Demchok. At an elevation of 5,640 metres, it forms the source for the Umlung stream that drains into the Indus and a tributary of the Kiungdul River that drains into Koyul Lungpa. Overnight stay at Hanle Homestay.

Travel distance and travel time (250 kms / 7-8 hrs) approx. On the way you can explore Chumathang (Hot Spring) and lunch break (By own cost) at upshi village then visit Thiksay Monastery and Rancho School. Overnight stay at Leh Hotel.
