Kausani the birthplace of the famed poet Sumitra Nandan Pant is often referred to as the 'Switzerland of India. Situated among mountains and trees, The Peaks Trishul and Nanda Devi are clearly visible from here. In 1929, Mahatma Gandhi spent 12 days here and brought his thoughts out in his book called Anasakti Yoga. The place where he stayed is called the Anasakti Ashram. This Ashram was earlier the guest house in a tea estate. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. Afterwards, you can do some things here like Nature Walk, Jungle Trek, Bird Watching & Star Gazing.

Today early wake up for Golden Glows of Sunrise at Trishul Peak - 7120 mtr. It was wonderful. When the Sun rises over the vast Himalayan range and the day began to roll out, Kausani seems to be the best location to be the witness it in India. Return back to hotel. After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, ready for famous temples sightseeing - Baijnath Temple & Someswar Temple. Rudrahari Cave Temple Trek - 8 kms from town, 2-km forest trek, Pant Museum , Lakshmi Ashram, Pinakeswar, Handloom Shawls Factory.

After a tasty breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Munsiyari. Munsiyari's name refers to a 'Place with Snow'. Situated on the banks of Goriganga River, it is a fast growing tourist destination, and mountaineers, glacier enthusiasts, high altitude trekkers and nature lovers commonly use it as their hub or base camp. Munsiyari also falls on the ancient salt route from Tibet and is at the entrance of the Johar Valley, which extends along the path of the Goriganga River to its source at the Milam Glacier. It is inhabited mainly by the Shauka people. The town is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, with a key attraction being the trekking route to Khalia Top.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you get ready to leave for sightseeing in Munsiyari. The vicinity is a blessing for nature-lovers. Some of the major attractions of Munsiyari are, Thamari Kund is a quaint natural lake located amidst the paper trees. We were told that it is a natural home of the Musk Deer, Maheshwari Kund, Betuli Dhar and Birthi fall. This sightseeing session will help you heal your exhaustions, thanks to the refreshing breeze and magnificent panorama. By late evening, you get back to the hotel. 

Overnight stay at Munsiyari Hotel.

Reach Chaukori by morning. After checking into your hotel and relaxing for a while, you can start your trip by visiting the Nagmandir. Then, you can pack your lunch and head out to Patal Bhubaneshwari. Since the travel time is more, it will take around 3 to 4 hours to explore the place. If you return early and still have some day left, you can visit Ghunsera Devi temple.
