Highlights of the Tour
Embark on a sacred journey through two of India’s most revered pilgrimage sites — Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and Vishnupad Temple in Gaya, the eternal land of Pind Daan rituals. This 4-day tour blends devotion, peace, and cultural richness across Jharkhand and Bihar.
Itinerary
On arrival at Deoghar Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative. You’ll proceed to check-in at your hotel and take some time to relax after your journey and visit - Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga Temple, Naulakha Mandir, Tapovan Hills.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Deoghar and prepare for a road journey to Gaya. You will travel through rural Jharkhand and Bihar, witnessing the rich countryside and traditional village life. A lunch stop can be made at a local dhaba or highway restaurant.
Upon arrival in Gaya in the late afternoon or early evening, check into your hotel and relax after the long journey. If time and energy permit, you may head out for a brief visit to the Vishnupad Temple, located on the banks of the Phalgu River. This ancient temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is built over a footprint believed to be that of the deity himself. Evening hours offer a peaceful setting for darshan.

Begin your morning with a ritual bath in the Phalgu River, followed by the Pind Daan ceremony — an important ancestral ritual for Hindus. This sacred act is believed to help the souls of ancestors attain peace and liberation (moksha). The rituals can be arranged through your hotel or with the assistance of local priests (pandas), who specialize in conducting these ceremonies. After completing the rituals, visit the Vishnupad Temple again, if not covered the previous evening, for a detailed darshan and to absorb the spiritual ambiance of this ancient site. In the afternoon, proceed on a short 12 km drive to Bodh Gaya, the place where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. Visit the iconic Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and spend time under the sacred Bodhi Tree, believed to be a direct descendant of the tree under which Buddha meditated. The Great Buddha Statue, Thai Monastery, Japanese Monastery, Bhutanese Monastery. After a fulfilling day of spiritual and cultural exploration, return to your hotel in Gaya for rest.
