After breakfast, Proceed for The Kamakhya Temple at Nilachal hills in Guwahati, Assam is one of the oldest and most revered centres of Tantric practices, dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. The temple is the center of the Kulachara Tantra Marga and the site of the Ambubachi Mela, an annual festival that celebrates the menstruation of the goddess. Also visit Basistha Ashram, Balaji Temple, Assam State Museum, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. In the evening you can visit the Fancy Bazaar.

After morning breakfast, check–out from hotel & proceed to shillong. On the way, visit Umiam Lake aka Borapani, which is a mesmerizing man-made reservoir encircled with lush green hills and later proceed to Shillong & check into the hotel. Afterwards, step out and explore the Shillong, Ward’s Lake, Shillong Golf Course, and Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians. In the evening you can visit the Police Bazaar, the lively local market for shopping and local street food.

Early morning (5 AM) your journey (Optional) to Double Decker Root Bridge, deep in the dense tropical forest of Meghalaya is a must-visit destination known for its numerous waterfalls. It's a 3000 step journey (Trek) down the hill and the trek starts from Tyrna Village (10 Kms from Sohra, Cherrapunjee). The approx. time to complete the journey (both ways) is 5-6 Hrs. After returning from double-decker Root Bridge then return back to cherrapunji hotel. Dainthlen Falls, Thangkharang Park.

After morning breakfast, check-out from the hotel & proceed to Shillong. Visit, Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Don Bosco Museum (one of the best museums in North East India showcasing tribal culture and heritage closed on Sundays), Lady Hydari Park, Laitlum Canyons. Early morning, head out to explore one zone of the national park riding on an elephant (on your own). Kaziranga National Park is home to many species of animals & birds including the One-horned rhino.
