About Kaziranga national park

Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is Assam’s crown jewel and one of the most celebrated wildlife reserves in the world. Spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra, Kaziranga is a biodiversity hotspot and a haven for wildlife enthusiasts.

The One-Horned Rhino: Kaziranga is home to nearly two-thirds of the world’s population of this rare and majestic animal. Spotting rhinos grazing in tall grasslands is the park’s most iconic experience.

Other Wildlife: The park shelters tigers, elephants, swamp deer, wild buffaloes, and over 450 species of birds, making it a dream destination for both safari lovers and birdwatchers.

Safari Experiences: Visitors can explore the park through jeep safaris and elephant-back rides, each offering unique perspectives of the terrain. The early morning safaris are particularly magical.

Landscape: The Park is a mix of grasslands, wetlands, and dense forests, with the backdrop of the Brahmaputra enhancing its scenic charm.

Nearby Attractions: Travelers can also explore nearby villages, tea estates, and cultural centers, making Kaziranga more than just a wildlife experience.

Kaziranga is not merely a national park—it is a thrilling journey into the wild, where every moment brings you closer to nature’s untamed beauty.
