Surrounded by nine islands, Mayapur is known as the birthplace of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and a major spiritual centre for ISKCON devotees. On arrival, check in at your hotel and freshen up before visiting the main attractions of Mayapur — Srila Prabhupada Samadhi Mandir, Museum, Sri Radha Madhava Temple, Panchatattva, Narasimha Deva Temple, Chaitanya Leela Exhibition, Goshala, and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Janmasthanam. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Ganges River (self-paid). Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Mayapur.
Wake up early in the morning and attend the Mangla Aarti Darshan at the ISKCON temple, experiencing the divine atmosphere filled with devotional chants and music. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your drive back to Kolkata. En route, visit Ghurni, a small artistic village near Krishnanagar, famous for its beautifully handcrafted clay dolls and figurines.
